Be safe and thrive in the water! Level 2 Swim welcomes children on the autism spectrum, ages 6-12. Level 2 focuses on foundational skills and water safety, including use of PFD, entering & exiting deep water, treading water, flutter kick, front crawl and back crawl. We expect to welcome 7 participants, supported at a 1:1 ratio. All swim lessons are delivered as part of the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life national program. Participants must have completed Level 1 or equivalent in order to register for Level 2. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: • Participants must have a CAN account and an autism diagnosis. • Participants must be of the correct age when the program starts. REGISTRATION INFO: • Registration is first-come, first-served. Open while availability lasts. • Waitlist option will appear once the session is full. • We encourage participants to register for the waitlist! Program space often becomes available if staffing or participant numbers change.
