About this Course

Let’s get wet! Swimmer 2 will build on the foundational skills mastered in Lifesaving Society Swimmer 1, with a focus on kicking, front and back crawl, and Water Smart education. Participants will continue to work on swim endurance with a target distance of 10 meters. An introduction to deep water activities and life jackets will also be included. The program is led by a skills coach, while CAN staff and volunteers work with participants to provide individualized instruction. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: • Participants must have a CAN account and an autism diagnosis. • Participants must be of the correct age when the program starts. REGISTRATION INFO: • Registration is first-come, first-served. Open while availability lasts. • Waitlist option will appear once the session is full.
