About this Course

Let’s get wet! Swimmer 1 focuses on swimming strokes, skills and building confidence. Participants will be introduced to skills adapted from the Lifesaving Society Swimmer 1 curriculum, including bubbles, floating, gliding, kicking, water entries and exits. The program is led by a skills coach, while CAN staff and volunteers work with participants to provide individualized instruction. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: • Participants must have a CAN account and an autism diagnosis. • Participants must be of the correct age when the program starts. REGISTRATION INFO: • Registration is first-come, first-served. Open while availability lasts. • Waitlist option will appear once the session is full.
